About this Blog...
For the past few months, the number of education technology sites in my RSS reader has steadily increased. There are a myriad of resources now out there online, so the purpose of this blog is to try to aggregate the best of what is available to teachers in the classroom today. I read to try and improve my own knowledge and skills, so why not pass on what I find most interesting or useful? Basically, I read the feeds so you don't have to! As well as reading the blogs listed in my blog roll, I also search Delicious for new and interesting sites for teachers.
I don't post everything from the sites I read. The main reason for this is relevance. For the purpose of this blog, I will focus on tools and ideas that I believe will enhance the teaching and learning of students through technology. The posts I include are ones that I hope teachers will find relevant and useful in K-12 classrooms. Feel free to email me any of your ideas to improve this blog, or to recommend a site for the front page.
About me...
My name is Jonathan Wylie. I am an Elementary school teacher who teaches in the Midwest. I have taught at schools in the US and in the UK, but this blog was never really intended to be about me. It is more about the dissemination of ideas and resources. I enjoy digital photography, freelance writing, and teaching with technology.
